Marlene A. (Dumas) Miller, age 83, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 after a brief illness. Marlene was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1940 to the late Clayton and Evelyn (Domeneck) Dumas. Marlene grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and attended Grosse Pointe High School (now South), graduating in the class of 1958.

Marlene was a true prayer warrior, spending several hours a week praying for others in need. Her deep faith was matched only by the love she felt for her four grandchildren. When Marlene was not praying for others or keeping up with her grandchildren, she could be found rooting on her beloved Detroit Tigers during baseball season.

Marlene is survived by her siblings; Judith (Neil) Eisele of Scottsdale, AZ; Richard Dumas of St. Clair Shores, MI; her daughters Kimberly (Daniel) Geist; Pamela Iacobelli (Ray Telang); 4 grandchildren: Matthew Geist, Courtney Geist, Bradley Geist and Rocco Iacobelli; Niece Dana (Sean) Walsh, Great Niece Holly Walsh and Great Nephew John Henry Walsh; Nephew C.J. (Peggy) Dumas and Great Niece Paige Dumas and several loving family and friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Jean (Minot) Dumas and nephew Mark Eisele.

Visitation will be held with a Memorial Service immediately following on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Clare Montefalco Church 1401 Whittier Rd., Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48236.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in Marlene Miller's name, thank you.
