Elizabeth M. Ross, age 88, died on Thursday, March 23, 2023, in Troy, Michigan. Beloved wife of the late James. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, March 26 from 1pm to 5pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Park. She will lie instate on Monday, March 27 from 9:30 am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lake Shore Rd., Grosse Pointe Farms. Memorial contributions can be made to the Michigan Human Society, 30300 Telegraph Road, Bingham Farms, MI 48025 and Paws With A Cause, 4646 Division, Wayland, MI 49348. Betty worked at the Grosse Pointe Central Library for many years with me. We who were fortunate enough to know her will remember Betty's wry sense of humor and strong yet gentle personality. Betty was no pushover! Her life held many good times, and a few hard ones, but she never let the spark go out on her enjoyment of being alive. God bless you, my friend...
