So sorry to hear about your father. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Always professional, respectful, always had his clients best interest regarding our businesses. He was a great husband and father to you and your sister and grandfather. He lived a long and wonderful life and set up his son to literally follow in his footsteps. Ross said your dad was in haven with his little angle I don’t doubt it. Barb and I will always have Jim in our thoughts.

My dear cousin, I am so glad that you are no longer in pain. Your light will still shine brightly for all who knew and loved you. It cannot be dimmed. You were truly one of a kind and one of the kindest men I have ever met in my life. I will be lifting up your sweet family during this difficult journey and wish I were there to hug them all. Prayers for my whole family during this time of loss and grief, but you my dear cousin are whole again, no pain, no suffering and with all of those who have gone before to welcome you, love you and especially your precious Nicky!

I would like to share a few memories of my time with my favorite Uncle.,He was the 1st positive male influence in my life.from vacations to Caseville to trips to Belle Isle..taking us to Saturday movies .He was a great family man in every way He was very special to me and I will never forget him! Dear Dad, I am glad that you are done with this struggle.

I want to share a couple of memories so that you know why I hold you dear in my heart and always love you.

Thank you for all of our time at Belle Isle. Feeding the ducks and the deer -- tromping through the woods. Those times are what gave me my love of nature. I was always excited to buy the day old bread and old apples, cut them up and go explore with the animals. You gave me that. Thank you!

I also want to thank you for all of the time with Marguerite, John, and Michael. Our time ice skating at Belle Isle - you lacing our skates, freezing while you waited for us to be done and buying a hot chocolate - you were amazing for all of us! Thank you!

Belle Isle was always yours and my special place, picking up horse chestnuts while you played handball, going to the aquarium- I wonder if that snapping turtle is still alive? And the hot house - that was cool!

Thank you for taking all of that time and for giving me the foundation for who I became.
