With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Noll (née Mangrum). She returned to His heavenly home on September 15, 2022 . Our loving and devoted grandmother, mother, and wife left us early in the morning at her home in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She was in her 75th year. Born in Detroit, Michigan, an only child predeceased by her mother Betty Jean O'Daniel (née Emery).
At the age of 14, during a Luther League fundraiser arranged by their church, she met her loving husband Peter Noll, who had eyes for no other since that fateful day. Married in Detroit in 1966, they settled into St. Clair Shores to start their family shortly after. Donna was the beloved mother of Gordan (Wendy), Christopher (Adrienne), Danielle (Andrew) and Ryan (Kimberley). Proud grandmother of Brianna (Brandon), Joshua, Greta, Clara, Hadley and Jonah. Step-Grandmother to Jenna, Jordan, Jillian, and Jacob.
She lived a full life as a wonderful mother and selfless volunteer. She loved to garden, was an avid animal lover, and was highly skilled in baking.
Donna was a faithful follower of Christ and had a zest for life. Most of all she loved her family and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that has served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. We find comfort knowing she is at peace with her Creator.
A private service was held on September 16th at Cadillac Memorial Gardens.
May the Noll family be blessed with warm memories of times that were spent with Donna. Let our dear Lord comfort you at this time.
Donna was more than special to me. I am so saddened by her departure. I take comfort knowing that she had such a love for the Lord that he certainly invited her in to His eternal haven of rest. Well done good and faithful servant.
