Walter and I were very close as children. He labeled me with the nickname of Tweet. I always looked forward to the frequent family dinners and gatherings where we cousins played games and pretended to be cowboys in the backyard. I always looked up to him, as he was a few months older than I (at that age, a few months was a big thing). I think the memory of Walter that sticks with me most was his ability to spell big words at a very early age (a skill which I have yet to master) but probably stems from the emphasis that both of our families placed on education. Although I have not seen Walter in many years, my heart aches to learn of his passing and I will always cherish those childhood memories. With love, “Tweet”
Larry you are in our prayers as you go through this difficult time. We love you!!! Lynelle,Chris and Christyn
Larry,I’m so sorry about this double blow!
I have not seen Walter since we were young—but I do remember what a warm person he was.
May he Rest In Peace.
Larry, our prayers and hearts are with you during this difficult season. I did not know Walter, but I am appreciative of the ways in which he helped shaped your parents, you, and my mother--all four of you have played such a critical role in my life and the lives of many others.
Dear brother you are the sweetest soul that ever lived. Your torment is over as you are in the loving arms of mom and dad. Love Larry
