Kathy Lee Mann, age 69, of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, passed away on July 15, 2020. Born, June 13, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan, Kathy and her sister Carol (now Danley) were raised by her parents, Harold Henry Meyers and Noreen Ethlyn Meyers in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence C. Mann, her daughter Lauren Kathleen Mann and her sister Carol along with her husband Wayne Danley and their children and grandchildren.
Kathy loved animals from an early age and as she matured grew a robust appetite for shopping, music, travel and fast cars. She doted on her nieces Dawn Danley Seaman, Tara Belonga, Bridget Keltner and Shannon Modglin and their offspring. She was not just "Aunt Kathy," she was also a good friend. The nieces relished Kathy's visits bearing stylish clothes and batteries for their toys. Kathy fiercely loved her family and brought an infectious, big smile to family gatherings.
Kathy graduated Wayne State University with a business degree, was an early female pioneer in auto sales and finance and ultimately retired from Great Lakes Export.

Dear Larry: Please accept my prayers, thoughts, and condolences. I’ve only known you to be an exceptionally kind, giving, and generous man. I am absolutely certain the same can be said of your family. I pray that your beloved walks gently to the other side where the ancestors will greet her with unbridled love. I know they will take great care of her.
Larry and Lauren, Kathy brought a smile to our faces every time we were all together. It was her warmth, genuine kindness and infectious laugh that will never be forgotten. Your L.A. family always got so excited when we knew you guys were coming to town. The house would be filled with laughter and those precious moments would fly by. Thank you both for sharing your amazing wife and mother with us. I’ll keep those memories close and cherish them forever. I love you guys so much. Pam Campisciano

I just got the news of Kathys passing...I have no words. She had such a beautiful spirit! Sending love to the family! ❤️
Kathy was my best friend. Thanks to Lauren and Kathryn for getting us together. Our families have become so wonderfully intertwined. In my heart I hold such love and laughter. All our time together from Punta Cuna, to all the tours, and art fairs. Laughing so hard we thought we’d pee our pants when we bought another bird. We had fun doing absolutely nothing together. She gave such love and laughter to my life. My heart will forever be filled with the happiness of our friendship.
Larry, Lauren, Carol, and Wayne, I am so sorry about your loss, and the loss of all of us. Kathy brought so much positive energy, and I can think of very few people who brought such abundant warmth into a family gathering. Larry, you know you have been a mentor and supporter to me in your work and in being a good human being, and I'm so sorry that you have to ensure this loss. I want to give you your space, but I also want to give you a big hug and let you know that you are not alone. You all remain in my prayers, and please call on me if there is anything I can do to provide any comfort at all. Love, Spencer
