Joe was truly the sweetest man. I’ve known him my entire life. He was my father Marty’s best friend! Joe attended every Shefferly event, holiday party, birthday party, camping trips and kings island trips! (He went in the little beast roller coaster over and over with me) Honestly, i don’t remember much of my life without joe being present until he had to move to Colorado. I have very fond memories that i will hold dear to my heart. One being, the water balloon fight in dugans campground. He got very mad at us kids but it was all in fun and games. We would laugh about now over the phone, every week we talked! Joe i will miss you so so much! Rest easy bud!
Love you, Jessica Shefferly

Dearest Joseph, one of the sweetest men I know. My husband and I loved getting his phone calls, hearing his amazing laugh and the loving teasing that went back and forth. We will miss you much our dear friend. All our love and prayers Gene and Mary Beth (Shefferly) Schmid❣️
