It is with great sadness that the family of MARY ANN DELY, nee Pettke, announce her passing on November 28, 2019, at the age of 71.

Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christopher (Shilpa), Gregory (Jena), and Colleen. Mary Ann will be fondly remembered as the grandmother of Ava, Alec, and Landon. Mary Ann was the sister of Eleanore Hamlin (Richard). She was pre-deceased by her husband Donald, father Joseph Pettke, mother Anna Pettke (nee Lieder), and brothers Marvin and Ronald Pettke; as well as her faithful golden retriever, Casey. She loved home decor and spent many years as a sales associate at Rabaut's Interiors in Grosse Pointe. She also worked at General Motors were she met Donald, her husband of 44 years. She had fantastic taste and loved to decorate and was willing to help friends and families add the finishing touches to their homes. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Louis Parish, 24415 Crocker Blvd., Clinton Twp., MI 48036 on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00am.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (

I am so sorry for your guys loss. Aunt Mary was our coolest Aunt. When we were kids she always had the coolest cars! I remember when Aunt Mary was coming over to babysit us we were always sooo excited cause we knew we were gonna have a blast tonight!! There were never enough hours in the night! We would stay up really late and run to bed when Mom and Dad were rolling up the driveway. Just one of so many good memories. Thanks for them all Aunt Mary. We will miss you!! Rick
