Jackie, I can't be certain of the date or occasion but I think the first time I ever saw you was when Bob brought you to a family gathering before you were married. You weren't the first girl Bob had brought around, but in my eyes you were definitely the prettiest! A young beauty that wore her hair up in a twist and killer high heels - what wasn't a 6 or 7 year old girl to admire?

You went on to marry my cousin and become part of our family. Over the years we shared many special celebrations and made lots of memories that I will always cherish. You graciously helped host my wedding shower, co-ordinate our 25th anniversary celebration, and you were there to share in our 40th as well.

You were there to lend a hand, bring a dish, or provide a willing ear when there were things I wanted to talk about.

I'll always remember your killer macaroni salad, pretty chocolates that you hand made, the overly generous fruit plates that were always beautifully displayed, and then there were those relish trays - Oy Yoi Yoi. To this day - your recipe for baked beans is my go to favorite .

Your being an only child like myself, you were in a unique position to understand the importance placed on maintaining relationships with "extended family". Both you and Bob were constants in my life, and I will always be grateful for having had that connection. Without a doubt, you will be dearly missed. Love, Sandy
