It is hard to believe I will never see Chucks smile again. We had such fun in our teens. One of the fun things he did was when my older sister had a date he would open the door take one look at the guy and close the door in his face. And then my father and him would laugh about it as my sister went crazy. He was also the only guy who could come in the house, that our dog wouldn't bark at and bit his shoe. I will miss all the funny emails he sent. RIP Chuck, you will be missed.

Throughout my life I have many memories of my Uncle Chuck. I fondly remember as a young kid getting to hang out with him and Aunt Charlene in there hippie cave in the basement listening to record like the animals and The Yardbirds. Years later many years later he still had those records.
I remember trips to the zoo. How cool that was going with your groovy uncle.
I remember how on Thanksgiving he would cover his whole plate in mash potatoes and load everything on top of the potatoes.
I could and often did call uncle chuck about any and all gardening questions.
We shared an interest in family history.
What i remember most is the love and time he spent with his big brother Bob.
I will miss you Uncle...RIP

One of the things that I will miss the most about my dad is his knowledge and helping hand. He was the person I turned to when I needed to figure out the landscaping, etc. I remember being frustrated with things growing in the yard and him walking me through the combination of things to use to eliminate them. While we were talking he was showing me what to buy and I was taking pictures of the products. I just happened to catch this and it makes me smile. He loved his yard. He would have knee surgery and be out there gardening the next day. I will never forget the lectures I would get as he got older and I would be helping in the yard with the landscaping or the Christmas decorations. No. No. No. Not there. Not like that. Use this. You need to do this first then that. Let me show you. Make sure they're all facing this way. LOL :-D Thanks dad. For sharing so much of yourself with us.
