Angeline M. Cook COOK, Angeline, age 85 of St. Clair Shores, formerly of Grosse Pointe died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at St. John Hospital, Detroit. Survived by her loving children Josephine (Michael) Stieber, Larry (Sandy) Cook, and Kathy (John) Gucciardi, dearest grandmother to MaryAnn Paolucci, Dan, Laura, Paul, Robert, Philip, Evan, Hunter, Kendall, loving great-grandmother to Johnny, Benji, and Allison. Also survived by her brothers Sam and Joe D’Angelo. Angeline was preceded in death by her husband Elmer on September 15, 1999 and a daughter, Mary Cook, on February 3, 1978, her parents Vito and Josephine (Cavataio) D’Angelo, and a brother Augustino D’Angelo. Angeline was a fan of the Detroit Tigers Fan, and an Avid Reader.
Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at St. Clare of Montefalco, 1401 Whittier (at Mack), Grosse Pointe, where she will lie in state 1/2 hour prior to mass. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23 from 2 to 8 pm at the Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe.
