Arthur F. Wittstock WITTSTOCK, Arthur F., Age 86. February 4, 2010. Mr. Wittstock was a lifelong resident of Grosse Pointe. He attended the University of Virginia where he played baseball and studied civil engineering. He was a member of the United States Navy where he served in the pacific theatre during World War II. He was the little league coach for Grosse Pointe Farms for 10 years. Dearest father of Peter (Nancy), Timothy (Sandra), and David. Loving Grandfather of Karen Morrish, Jeffrey and Evan Wittstock. Dear great grandfather of 2. Also survived by Brothers Joseph and Bob, and sister Marie Lahr. He was predeceased by his sister Gerry VanDeputte.
Funeral Information
Memorial gathering Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 12 – 2 pm, until time of service at 2 pm at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Park, MI.
