Condolence From: Jim potter
Condolence: It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write to express my deepest condolences to the entire Check family. I had the privilege of growing up and living next to Mr. Check and his son my good friend Jerry ll for 20 years. He was the hardest working man I have ever known. Seems like he was always working a double shift - working hard to take care of his family. So many wonderful memories with Mr. Check, Jerry & Vince. Later in life I would stop by unannounced & was always welcomed with a smile, an hour of conversation over a 6 pack. I always felt that we had a special bond. I realize at this very moment that my undying love of the Lions is because of you Mr. Check and all the priceless & timeless memories you gave to so many of us. I will always think of you with every painful game that I watch. Hold that line Mr. Check - hold that line. Love, Jim Potter.

Condolence: A lot of great times growing up with Jerry T. Check II.
Mr. Check had no qualms in sharing his Wisdom, Thoughts & Comradery with us impressionable kids.
Things we may have taken for granted then, we can be so thankful today for all of his influences.
From Lions Games to City Rec Softball to just hanging around the neighborhood, Mr. Check was there.
Sometimes when we were messing around or messing up, he’d shake his head and say you darn kids, but never talked down to us. Adults is who we thought we were and adults is how he treated us. And I thank him for that and so much more. A true inspiration in my life who taught us all more than we ever realized. I Thank You Mr. Check, and I will miss you. We all will miss you…

Condolence: Dear family. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. What brings me comfort in times like these is the scripture found at Revelation 21: 3, 4 where God promises to do away with all sickness and death forever. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may Jehovah, the God of all comfort, be with your family during this most difficult time in your lives.
